Aerial Coaching

Danya is a multi-apparatus aerial coach with over 5 years of experience teaching adult recreational aerial classes and over a decade of aerial training. She has completed extensive formal instructor training and rigging education, and is insured under general liability insurance for aerial instruction for my freelance coaching practice.
 

As a coach, Danya prioritizes safety, biomechanics, and progressions, and aims to find learning options for every body so that each student can find success and joy in their aerial journey.

I am an instructor at In the Dark Circus Arts in Baltimore, specializing in silks classes, conditioning, and intro to dynamic pathways. Currently, I teach on Friday evenings. You can find and register for classes with me and the other fantastic coaches at the link below. 

I also coach freelance for small group and private lessons from the Dance Exchange studio in Takoma Park, MD. Please contact me if you are interested!

Prior to moving to the DMV region, Danya trained and taught group aerial classes at Versatile Arts in Seattle, beginning by student teaching beginner through intermediate classes from Nov 2017 onward with regular continuing education to provide a strong basis for coaching.
